Massage is best done progressively over time. Similar to working-out, the body doesn’t like change all at once. Many chronic, tense muscles do not develop overnight. While pain might come on “all of a sudden”, it is usually building up over time. An excellent way to a pain-free, flexible, healthy body is to set up a series of regular massage treatments (whether it is weekly, monthly or every other month). Address the pain before it starts.
